What we liked
- Alexa Riley wrote it with their signature smuttiness, grunting and overprotective alpha heroes, instalove, no condom tolerance and no-nonsense heroines we love from this duo so much.
- No cheating. We at Lust At First Page do not tolerate cheating. Alexa Riley safe = Lust At First Page approved.
- All the sex, of course. I hope you have fresh batteries (or your spouse will do), and clean panties ready for when you finish.
What we didn't
- While it did have the signature Alexa Riley flare we love and lust so much, we felt that it was pretty...tame? in this one. Up until the middle at least. Guess we're just not used to waiting that long to see the H's go all alpha male.
- Although this is of their full-length novels, we still wish they were longer. We just want to spend more time with the characters.
The Guys
Royce // He is the only one (outside of the family) that can break down her tough exterior/walls and bring out her soft side. And that Pandora brings out Royce's growly and protective side.
Ivan // We met him in Stay Close, who's now married to Pandora's sister Penelope, and he's still as grumpy and sexy in this book. But we got to see him be protective over Pandora, like a good big brother-in-law. That was a precious moment.
The Badass Ladies
Pandora // She's a hard-ass top dog at the company and has the ability to make grown men's knees in fear...as well as lust. That is, if you can get past her walls. But I'd advise against it unless you want to face Royce in the ring. Good luck with that.
Penelope // Penny is as effervescent as ever. Still cracks us up. She's always there for her sister and vise versa, since birth. That twin bond is solid. And of course always giving Ivan hell, which is always fun to watch.
