{Review} Dirty Uncle by Alexa Riley and Jess Kane

Thursday, December 28, 2017

Title: Dirty Uncle
Author: Alexa Riley and Jessa Kane
Publication Date: December 22, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance

Rex spends a lot of time on king crab fishing boats. So much time that he can’t remember the last time he felt the warmth of a woman. So when his barely legal, half-naked niece lands in his lap, he can’t seem to control himself.

Clara is old enough to make her own decisions, and she’s decided she wants her step-uncle Rex. He’s big and dirty, but tell that to her aching body.

Warning: When Jessa and Alexa team up you know it’s going to be terrible. Turn down the lights and grab some fresh batteries. This one is straight filth!

What we liked

♥ Y'all already know our love all things Alexa Riley, but this one has a collab with Jessa Kane, and we are digging it. This creative and dirty-minded threesome created something filthy.
♥ Alexa Riley's signature kinks we love so much.
♥ Step-uncle / roleplay taboo trope.
♥ Public sex.
♥ Butt stuff. Out in public. On the hood of her car. He took that cherry first (spoiler alert).
♥ The h is the soft balm to the H's hardness (no pun intended).
♥ Features an h who isn't perfect/flawless.
♥ Foreplay and sex on the recliner in the cabin. With his two friends snoozing on the couch several feet away. Wow. They got guts.

What we didn't

  • The "I just want to rape your throat" line was completely not necessary. Not to mention not sexy.
  • The h really didn't know she needed glasses until the H pointed it out to her?
  • "...little girl pussy" that is actually part of the quote. Sure they're only role-playing, but it was cringey as f*ck.
  • Did the h really give the H a bj hours after taking her virginity without washing up first? We really hoped he washed first. Don't ask why this bothers us so much.
  • Even though it's a step uncle-neice story, it got confusing when she called his "daddy" so much. It was easy to forget it's an uncle kink story and not a daddy one. It only got more confusing when they had kids and couldn't tell who was calling for daddy until names were mentioned.

The guys

Rex // The dirty step-uncle. I did not understand the appeal upon first impression, but he turns out to be not as bad as he (or we) thought he was. Definitely a hell of a lot better than the new step-father (his brother). We'll get to him next.

Clara's new step-dad // doesn't even deserve a mention of his name (we forgot what it was anyway). He put up a devious front/facade, but he turns out to be a disgusting perv and all-around creep. I feel bad for the h's mom and anyone he may encounter.

Rex's two friends // Those guys and what they must've witnessed in the living room... But they took it like champs and were respectful about it and left without a sound. They seem like good lads.

The gals

Clara // For a clumsy virgin, she's a determined minx who knows how to seduce without even trying or realizing it. Get it, girl.

Clara's mom // She needs to be a better mom and dump the new creep of a husband after the way he treated Clara.

{Review} It's Complicated by Missy Johnson

Wednesday, December 27, 2017

Title: It's Complicated
Author: Missy Johnson
Release Date: December 13, 2017
Genre: Adult, Contemporary Romance

They call him the Anaconda, and I'm pretty sure it isn’t because he likes snakes.

Nick Jenson is my neighbor. My hot, oh-so-sexy, very-well-equipped neighbor that I’d spend hours watching from the safety of my bedroom window.

I saw lots of things I probably shouldn’t have. Sometimes I’d touch myself, imagining it were his hands roaming over my body instead of my own. I had just one mission—to find out if the rumors were true.

Then one day, he caught me watching him.

I was mortified. I was prepared to quit college, move to another country, and live the rest of my life saying, “Nick who?” But, apparently, life had other ideas.

Because Nick? Well, he isn’t just my neighbor… He’s also my father’s best friend. If I thought things were difficult before, they were about to get a whole lot more complicated.

Oh, and those rumors? Holy fuck, were they true…

What we liked

♥ Even with the old tired dad's best friend trope, it was more laid back/less restrained than other reads that follow a similar trope, which made it more fun
♥ The Hero has a huge... Anaconda ;-) *instert eggplant emoji*
♥ It's brimming with subtle and inteded sexual innuendos and double entreders
♥ The Hero and heroine shares more in common than just sex - both share a passion in architecture as well
♥ Nick's smart, observant and funny kiddos

What we didn't

  • Um, subtle homophobic comment, much? (Loc 508)
  • The Hero's kids are ages 10 and 8, why are you reading them bed time stories?
  • Not enough epilogue

The guys

Nick // His huge... "anaconda" has earned quite the reputation with some ladies around town. But overall, he's a charming guy with a great work ethic, and a devoted dad to boot.

Dan // Anna's dad and Nick's best friend, and also next door neighbor. Although a couple of years older than Nick, he seemed a bit immature than Nick.

Max // Nick's son. He's 10 years old, but smarter and more observant than you might expect.

The gals

Anna // Our heroine who tamed Nick's huge... you get the idea.

Kayla // Anna's BFF and #1 cheerleader of the Anna/Nick ship. She's foreward and blunt without shame, but she's an amazing friend with a great personality and a filthy mind/mouth. We kind of want her to have a book of her own.

Milly // Nick's daughter. We like how chill she was, even for an 8 year old.

Mandy // Anna's dads girlfriend. She didn't have much of a presence, but she has a good judge of character. Hopefully she can reign in and tame Dan.

{Review} Off Limits by Clare Connelly

Tuesday, November 28, 2017

** I received an advance review copy in exchange for an honest review, however
it does not influence my review, nor was I monetarily compensated **

Title: Off Limits
Author: Clare Connelly
Publication Date: February 1, 2018
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance

“I want to taste you tonight.”

With chemistry this hot, it’s worth getting burned…

Billionaire Jack Grant is totally off-limits to Gemma Picton. He’s wild, deliciously dangerous…and her boss. When working late turns X-rated, it’s better than her wildest imaginings—and Gemma’s imagined a lot! But Jack has major emotional baggage, so when Gemma starts wanting to heal his heart as well as enjoy his body, she knows she’s in big trouble…

What we liked

♥ British characters, lingo's and setting. British everything, basically.
♥ Smart writing and keen characters.
♥ Playful, unabashed banter between boss and assistant.
♥ The sensual foreplay is thick - thicker than Jack's...you know ;)
♥ The foreplay and sexytimes. 'Nuff said.
♥ Although the main characters are boss and assistant (technically "counsel" according to Gemma), it didn't feel like there was anyone beneath the other. At times, it felt like they were more partners at work.

What we didn't

  • Some minor inconsistencies and errors, but I assume they will be fixed in edits.
  • How quickly the H lost his playful openness after the first chapter. But it was silly of us to expect that to be the set up of their personalities/relationship toward each other from that point on.
  • Jack's silent treatment/tantrum in the limo because he didn't get some when all Gemma wanted to do was talk.
  • Character inner monologue went off on a tangent a couple of times.
  • (Loc 837) was a bit albeist.
  • Ending was wrapped up/forgiven a bit too quickly.

The guys

Jack.

The ladies

Gemma // Harry Potter diehard. Smart and sexy. She's pretty much the total package but also human and not the perfect model or angel that's put on a pedestal.

Gemma's grandma // She's the best...and a bit too observant. But it proves to be a good thing that helps Gemma.

Gemma's mom //

Lust at first page

"Gemma is staring at me, and the mood I'm in I feel about two steps away from going all 'Me Tarzan, You Jane' on her. I want to grab her round the waist and pull her down on my length. No foreplay. No teasing. Just her...taking me deep."

{Review} Unexpected Claim by Alexa Riley

Tuesday, November 7, 2017

Title: Unexpected Claim
Author: Alexa Riley
Release Date: November 3, 2017
Genre: Adult Erotic Romance

Ivy is looking to break out of her innocent bubble, so she decides going to an adult club with her bestie is the way to do it. She’s nervous and excited, but nothing could compare to the reality she’s confronted with.

Shep’s been totally okay with living his quiet life alone. But his best friend thinks it’s time he changed that. Being dragged into a club wasn’t his idea of fun, but one glance at the snowy angel and he’s done for.

Warning: This book is about grownups doing grown things, so brace yourself! Two virgins walk in… Can you guess how many walk out? One-click to find out!

What we liked

♥ The Alexa Riley flare we love and never tire of

♥ It's a quickie read for when you only have time for a quickie
♥ Sex club. But a notch higher -- Orgy night at a swanky sex club
♥ Instalust. Y'all know we're a sucker for those.
♥ Both main characters lose their virginities together
♥ The H went from reluctant wallflower to an alpha dom with his girl
♥ Semi-realistic sex, as far as how quick it goes
♥ The epilogue 12 years later. Suffice to say that they still have it bad for each other.
♥ MC with a disability was handled well

What we didn't

  • It was too short for us (yes, we're greedy)
  • There wasn't enough sex. Yes, it's a short novella so there's not much room for much, but damn the sex and foreplay was hot, we wanted more!

The ladies

Ivy // The lady virgin of the evening. She goes from shy virgin to insatiable vixen when Shep claims her in the club, and we loved seeing this evolution.

Reba // Ivy's wild and vivacious friend, here to sacrifice Ivy's v-card (aw, how nice of her) like a good friend does. She deserves all the thanks for dragging Ivy to the club.

The guys

Shepard // He's got the brains and looks (in that order), who powered through school bullies while having a disability (scoliosis). He's lucky to have a friend like Marc. Did we mention that he's a...VIRGIN? Never even kissed a girl before he met Ivy. We love these unicorns.

Marc // Points for being a good friend/person in general when it came to a kid (Shep) with a disability. You don't see school kids handle peers with a disability well when it comes to fighting off bullies. Also doesn't hurt that he's funny, fun and enjoys giving Shep a hard time. It's weird I kinda wanted him and Reba to hook up.

{Review} His Virgin by Nikki Chase

Saturday, November 4, 2017

Title: His Virgin
Author: Nikki Chase
Release Date: March 8, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance

Everything has a price. Including her virginity.

I’m Caine Foster. You know my name. I own this city.

I keep strict control of all my relationships. I always have the upper hand—in business and pleasure.

So when a sweet little thing defies me, it pisses me off. It makes me want to dominate her, bend her to my will, make her beg for my c*ck. I want to turn that angry fire in her green eyes into sweet submission.

I make her an offer. She spends thirty days with me, and I solve her money problems. No mess, no drama, no questions. Just my filthy money for her pure innocence.

But she’s more than I bargained for. I have a new addiction, and her name is Daisy. My dirty little flower.

I’m never letting her go now, contracts be damned.

What we liked

♥ The dirty talk and teasing, flirty banter

♥ Virgin trope
♥ Billionaire/rich trope
♥ The H wasn't portrayed as a manwhore
♥ Plot twist
♥ Semi-public sex
♥ Character growth
♥ When the H showed his soft, patient side and humility
♥ The foreplay and sex were fire. It was HOT.

What we didn't

  • Controlling partners/people in general. The H raised yellow flags up a few times in the beginning. We know some readers find controlling H's appealing, but this was not done in that way in our opinion.
  • WTF was Loc 1628? NO
  • Daisy and Caine's first sex was short-lived, but also realistic, so we guess it wasn't that bad
  • Daisy didn't seem to be concerned/worried about leaving her little brother at their apartment while she went to live with Caine per their arrangement. We'd understand if she was just the sister, but she's also his guardian. Shouldn't she be thinking/worried about him by nature? Maybe it's just us.
  • We wished Caine had built a relationship after finding his biological mom

The guys

Caine // He started off as an alphahole (more asshole than alpha) but he goes through quite the character growth by the end.

Jack // Daisy's little brother and a freaking smart kid at that. He's luck to have Daisy as his sister.

Todd // Caine's slick (not blood-related) cousin, who got his cumupence in the end.

Chad // Slime ball, who sucks at being a loan shark. Should've known he and Todd knew each other.

Nathan // Another traitor, who was put in his place--prison.

Caine's pops // The stubborn old man. At least he finally got his HEA.

The gals

Daisy // Hard-working best sister in the world. We loved how tenacious and determined she is.

Katie // Daisy's coworker, good friend and roommate, and the life of the party.

Bertha // Poor mama went through a lot and came out of the other side, with the love of her life and family back in her life.

{Review} Hard Wood by Luaren Blakely

Monday, October 30, 2017

Title: Hard Wood
Series: Big Rock #6
Author: Lauren Blakely
Publication Date: October 23, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance

From #1 NYT Bestselling author Lauren Blakely comes a hot & hilarious new romantic comedy AND the final novel in her beloved Big Rock series of standalone romances...

Women often say a good man is hard to find. And a hard man is even better.
That's why I'm quite a catch-- good, hard, loaded, and wait for it...I'm ready to settle down too. But the woman I want to pitch my tent with lives clear across the country. Neither of us wants to get lost in those woods. All I have to do is resist her for the week she's in town.

I try. I swear I try. But yeah, that doesn't work out.

And after one fantastic night with my good friend Mia, I'm ready to give her years of nights under the stars. What's a few thousand miles when love's involved? But there's a hitch in my plans -- she just hired my adventure tour company. If there's one thing I'm committed to, it's running a squeaky clean business. Number one on my list of iron-clad rules?

Don't screw your customers.

But what's a guy to do when she's so hard to resist? How hard can it be to keep our hands off each other for a quick group tour down the hills and over the trails? I'm about to find out, and I have a feeling I'm going to need a new badge of honor because things are about to get very hard in the woods.
♥ The best friends little sister / brothers friend trope has no place here.

♥ H is a cat person.

♥ The cat. Who happens to be Instagram famous.

♥ Humorous and smart characters and writing.

♥ Cat POV. It was very proper and hilarious. He definitely stole the show.

♥ The banter between the H and h, and even their convos with the cat are hilarious

♥ Quoting literary quotes at each other.

♥ Nature whirlwind wedding.

  • After the straightforwardness of the H in the beginning, he clammed up about his feelings/thoughts from the h. What happened to all that bravado, dude? At least he didn't keep it to himself for very long.
  • Not enough cat POV.

Patrick // Instagram active dudebro and cat daddy to Zeus. Not as IG famous as his cat.

Zeus // Patrick's Instagram famous, hiking cat. Yes, you read that right, but that's not all he's good for in this story or in Patrick's life.

Max //

Mia // Hardworking girlboss who can kick ass in the woods, in the boardroom and quote literature. She's smart and fiesty. Literally wifey material.

Evie // Best sister ever.

"The reason I said 'after you' at the start of the trails is that I'm a gentleman and I still believe that ladies come first." I stop, reigning in a smirk. "Go first, I mean. Ladies go first."

{Review} Fairytale Shifters by Alexa Riley

Saturday, October 14, 2017

Title: Fairytale Shifters
Series: Fairytale Shifter #1-4
Author: Alexa Riley
Release Date: September 25, 2017
Genre: Paranormal, Erotic Romance

Welcome to the Fairytale Shifter series... where growly alphas find their mates and heroines have babies galore! This bundle includes all of our shifter books with a BRAND NEW STORY in the back! Revisit your old favorites and discover our newest addition to the family.

Finn, Flint, and Forest have spent their lives looking for their mate. The three brothers have been through everything together, and seeing the rest of their family pair off has been hard to watch. But one day, deep in the woods, a small bunny crosses their path when the three of them are in wolf form. To their surprise, they finally find what they’ve been looking for, but it just so happens they all find it at once.

Luna Hare lost her family long ago, and she’s been traveling to different shifter villages, trying to find one that is the right fit. Secretly she’s been hoping to meet another bunny family and possibly find her mate. She never expected that when she'd come to Gray Ridge, she'd not only find a mate, she would find three. Three enormous wolves that look hungry, and not for food.

Warning: Bunnies like to make babies, so it’s a good thing she’s got three wolves lined up and waiting to take a turn. This shifter book is over-the-top sweet, and just as dirty as the rest. Come back to Colorado with us, and let’s see how this works out. We have a feeling it’s going to be a happily ever after.

What we liked

♥ The erotic/modern spin on fairytales
♥ Alexa Riley's signature instalust (& instalove)
♥ Not your ordinary shifters
♥ It made us laugh the whole way through. It was pretty hilarious.
♥ There are a variety of shifters that will appeal to readers with different tastes: wolf, bear, bunnies
♥ It's a bundle of quick stories, starring different couples
♥ Mating in the woods
♥ Women who support other women are the real MVP
♥ Ladies topping from the top. The guys like to think they're in control, but we know who really runs the world.
♥ FOURSOME

What we didn't

  • The explanation of human/shifter mating was a bit confusing, nor did it seem all that plausible
  • Creepy sleep-watching is creepy
  • Controlling older brother

The Alphas

Dominic. Wolf. We love a man in uniform. Super protective and a certified DILF.

Xavier. Lone wolf (for a while). He's got the caveman thing going on that shows he's resourceful and wild...in and out of bed.

Stone. The actual alpha of the (wolf) pack. Except when it comes to Winnie. Took him a long damn time to give into his urges and get the girl of his dreams. We think he enjoys torturing himself.

The ladies

Ruby // Ruby is headstrong, got a heart of gold, and is a supermom. And she did not back down from what she wanted even though she was new in town.

Gwen // Gwen doesn't question phallus-shaped pastries and desserts. Gwen loves dirty jokes and isn't afraid to make us laugh at any dirty thing she says.

Winnie // Winnie may have started off shy, but she bites back. Never underestimate the quiet ones - they tend to be the most dangerous.

Snow //

Genre: New Adult, Romantic Suspense, Erotica

DEVIL'S NIGHT is returning! Hiding places, chases, and all the games are back...

BANKS

Buried in the shadows of the city, there’s a hotel called The Pope. Ailing, empty, and dark—it sits abandoned and surrounded by a forgotten mystery.

But you think it’s true, don’t you, Kai Mori? The story about the hidden twelfth floor. The mystery of the dark guest who never checked in and never checks out. You think I can help you find that secret hideaway and get to him, don’t you?

You and your friends can try to scare me. You can try to push me. Because even though I struggle to hide everything I feel when you look at me—and have ever since I was a girl—I think maybe what you seek is so much closer than you’ll ever realize.

I will never betray him.

So sit tight.

On Devil’s Night, the hunt will be coming to you.

KAI

You have no idea what I seek, Little One. You don’t know what I had to become to survive three years in prison for a crime I would gladly commit again.

No one can know what I’ve turned into.

I want that hotel, I want to find him, and I want this over.

I want my life back.

But the more I’m around you, the more I realize this new me is exactly who I was meant to be.

So come on, kid. Don’t chicken out. My house is on the hill. So many ways in, and good luck finding your way out.

I’ve seen your hideaway. Time to see mine.

*Hideaway is a romantic suspense suitable for ages 18+. While the romance is a stand-alone, the plot is a continuation of events that began in CORRUPT (Devil's Night, #1). It is strongly recommended that you have read Corrupt prior to reading this.

What we liked

♥ The mystery continues

♥ Confessional foreplay in a cemetery
♥ Sex in an actual confessional
♥ Holy plot twists
♥ Kai's Japanese background
♥ SEXUAL TENSION
♥ Power play between Kai and Banks is fun
♥ The Banks and Alex scene. That was HOT. And they'd barely even touched.
♥ Devil's Night flashbacks
♥ Abandoned hotel
♥ And the plot thickens...
♥ Banks and Rika in the hallway closet, then Banks/Kai and Rika/Michael going at it at the same time after the Banks/Rika show
♥ Banks and Rika catfight

What we didn't

  • A few editing errors and minor consistancies
  • Is it possible to hate Damon more but also feel bad for him once we know what he went through?
  • Damon's dad. And his mom. His whole fucked up family basically.
  • One last Devil's Night/Damon's reappearance was a bit anticlimactic after all the build up

The guys

Kai // Well, he was an enigma. He's got a multitude of sides to him, some that may surprise you for a number of reasons. While things were going down on Devil's Night in the first book, we didn't know Kai's history with Banks, or that Banks even existed. That's the thing with Penelope Douglas -- she has a way of distracting you while she waits to pull an ace from her sleeves. And tt was nice to get to know a bit about his family and Japanese background.

Michael // He didn't have much presence in this book, outside of the flashback chapters, as he was out doing basketball things. But when he did appear, he was his usual dick Michael self.

Will // We see more of him than we did in the last book, but in this one, we had our doubts about Will. Minuscule things had us suspicious about him, that turned out to be nothing. Sorry we didn't trust you for a while there, Will.

Damon // After all the hiding, the creepy texts and threats, his physical reappearance was...anticlimactic (at least to us). We were a bit disappointed with that execution of his comeback. But we did learn about his past growing up, and Devil's Night as part of the Four Horsemen guys.

The badass ladies

Banks // Penelope Douglas has been hiding Banks we were distracted with Rika in the first book. It was definitely interesting to get a peak into her past and relationship with Damon in their formative years.

Rika // Since this book is more solely about Kai and Banks, Rika doesn't have very much presence or focus, but the parts where she is in we get to see sides of her we're familiar with and parts we didn't but do expect from her. I mean, can we talk about that catfight and hallway closet...fun?

Alex // While she wasn't around that much, she made quite an impression and we want to see more of her. And Will needs to stop stringing Alex along. Just give this girl someone to love!

{ARC Review} Hold Tight by Alexa Riley

Monday, September 25, 2017

** I received an advance review copy in exchange for an honest review, however
it does not influence my review, nor was I monetarily compensated **

Title: Hold Tight
Series: For You #2
Author: Alexa Riley
Publication Date: October 16, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance

New York Times and #1 ebook bestselling author Alexa Riley returns with Hold Tight, the next novella in the For You series

A hotshot consultant hired to streamline Osbourne Corp. meets his match in Pandora Justice—the more she plays hard to get, the more he wants her.

They say that like recognizes like, and the day I looked into her deep blues, I met my other half.

Pandora Justice took over as head of security at Osbourne Corp. after her father's retirement. Eighty-hour workweeks are normal; being brushed up against by hot consultants with ridiculous names is not. And she doesn't like it. Not even one bit.

It's amazing how easily she can lie to herself.

I had to have her. Plain and simple.

The first time Pandora sees Royce in the ring—all tattoos and sinew, covered in sweat—he looks at her like he's just won more than the fight. Like he won her.

I won't play games with her. I'll wait, and it will kill me, but I'll do it for her.

Royce's cocky grin with deep dimples makes Pandora melt. Once she wanted to smack that look off his face—now all she wants to do is kiss it. For the rest of her life.

The thought of spending the rest of my life with Pandora warms the place in my chest I didn't think was alive. I've put my claim on her—she's the one, and I'm done. It's that simple.
  • Alexa Riley wrote it with their signature smuttiness, grunting and overprotective alpha heroes, instalove, no condom tolerance and no-nonsense heroines we love from this duo so much.
  • No cheating. We at Lust At First Page do not tolerate cheating. Alexa Riley safe = Lust At First Page approved.
  • All the sex, of course. I hope you have fresh batteries (or your spouse will do), and clean panties ready for when you finish.
  • While it did have the signature Alexa Riley flare we love and lust so much, we felt that it was pretty...tame? in this one. Up until the middle at least. Guess we're just not used to waiting that long to see the H's go all alpha male.
  • Although this is of their full-length novels, we still wish they were longer. We just want to spend more time with the characters.

Royce // He is the only one (outside of the family) that can break down her tough exterior/walls and bring out her soft side. And that Pandora brings out Royce's growly and protective side.

Ivan // We met him in Stay Close, who's now married to Pandora's sister Penelope, and he's still as grumpy and sexy in this book. But we got to see him be protective over Pandora, like a good big brother-in-law. That was a precious moment.

Pandora // She's a hard-ass top dog at the company and has the ability to make grown men's knees in fear...as well as lust. That is, if you can get past her walls. But I'd advise against it unless you want to face Royce in the ring. Good luck with that.

Penelope // Penny is as effervescent as ever. Still cracks us up. She's always there for her sister and vise versa, since birth. That twin bond is solid. And of course always giving Ivan hell, which is always fun to watch.

{Review} Five by J.A. Huss

Thursday, September 21, 2017

Title: Five
Series: Mister #0.5
Author: J.A. Huss
Publication Date: September 19, 2017
Genre: New Adult Romantic Suspense

Fifty million books ago I promised you a love story about Five and his Princess. This is their story.

Five Aston has known Rory Shrike for as long as he can remember. He played with her in the sandbox. He went to every damn horse show just to be supportive. He helped her with her French, walked her home from school, and faked his test scores just to stay with her a little longer and not be sent off to college early.

But eventually he had to move on.
And so did she.
Never has a second chance meant so much to a boy who loves a girl.

A standalone book that is also a spin-off of the Rook & Ronin Series and prequel to the Mister Series. You can read it first, you can read it last. It doesn't really matter because it's f*cking Five.
  • Uhh...that we got more Five and Princess, duh!
  • The J.A. Huss-style twists in this one will blow your mind. Literally. Hold on to your seats, it's going to get wild.
  • Five and Princess sexy times. You know we're here for that. ;)
  • Explosions.
  • Let's start with the way it ended. And since it's spoilery, we'll leave it at that. We'll be eagerly waiting for Mr. & Mrs, Julie.
  • Cults. Just sayin.
  • Which brings us to the side characters. Their sexism and misogynistic views/comments.
  • We didn't get to see much of our favorite first generation OG characters which bummed us out. Maybe they'll make appearances in Mr. & Mrs.?

Fucking Five // If you've read some of the books he made appearances in, then you're probably familiar with him. If not, let me introduce you to Five. In Five, he will stimulate your mind as well as your...other parts (if you know what we mean), melt your panties right off, and make you want to smack the shit out of him. Sometimes all at once.

Cliff // I'm sorry I didn't trust you at first, Cliff -- You turned out to be a really swell guy. All I have left to say is WHY JULIE WHY!?

Ford // Wish we saw more of him, but the brief time he popped in was still exciting.

Oliver Shrike // He's a 12 year old little shit in this book, but with a big heart and good intentions. He's a force to be reckoned with when he gets older, as proven in Mr. Match.

Princess Rory Shrike // The lady of the night (book) and in Five's life. And heart. And bed. She's definitely got her mama's bombshell in her.

Kate Aston // Already confirmed badass older sister to Five, and Rory's ride-or-die.

Sparrow // She can hold down the whole fort (or theater) on her own, and still have energy to give people shit with blunt, unashamed honesty, and witty comebacks.
